New China Fair - Elmwood Charter Twp

I normally don't do reviews, but I couldn't help myself with this! On a Sunday at 2pm, greeter was not friendly, food was so cold it was like it just came out of a fridge. Just not good, and the worse part!! 42 dollars!!!! Holy Pete's! Never again!

It was okay. Lots of seating. When honestly say not wheelchair friendly, to get to the main Buffet you have to go through a little hallway was part of the Cold Buffet if someone is at that part of the buffet you'd have to wait to get through with a wheelchair. The food was so so. It wasn't bad but it wasn't superb. When I go to a Chinese restaurant Buffet usually the general Taos is spicy there's was not but I did like they had what looked to be spicy chili sauce on the side, I didn't get it as there was no sign stating what it was. There was tons of chicken options, egg rolls, chicken fried rice, white rice, Cantonese noodles, crab rangoons (they called it something other than rangoons) but on the side note they were good. A fair amount shrimp options, there was some sort of fish but I didn't catch the name as I didn't have the fish, steak with veggies so much more that I'm not remembering all of it. For desserts they had peanut cookie? It looked like peanuts with white chocolate but I didn't get it so I'm not sure what the peanuts were covered in, Oreo cookies what looked to be short bread cookies but might be sugar cookies, I unfortunately didn't get any desserts as I filled up on the main Buffet portion. Overall after tax my bill was $19.07 for just myself only water to drink I feel that's a fair price.

Some of the best Chinese food I have had. It's always fresh. And if you don't think it is fresh enuff. All you have to do is ask your waiters if they can make some fresh. They will gladly make more for you. Employees are always nice. Easy parking and getting out
