TGI FRIDAYS - Big Flats - Elmira

To lunch after a too long shopping tour for my 92 year old mother. I was exhausted and hungry! the restaurant was kind of quiet, so our server was quite attentive, but not superior. the food came out quickly and was good. the restaurant itself was very clean. when we came back, it poured. we were invited to sit back and wipe it out, and even a refill of our drinks offered. will definitely go back.

Wednesday March 30th four of us in the bar for lunch. server was very nice, just a little slow. our eating was a little slow coming out, not crowded. rib almost had no flesh. wings were not sharp, I ordered the hottest sauce they had. the friend did not like coleslaw. friends were good, probably not back.

The food was excellent. they wait personal was attentive, but not transferred. there was a woman who threw a fit on a table (she gave to her table, didn't want to pay and wanted to cause problems. the manager treated it with respect and kept the situation calm and calm. I appreciate that the manager doesn't work on the waitress alone.

15 minutes for a soda. 45 minutes are waiting for burnt food. I know there's a funny job shortage now, and the waiting staff isn't guilty, but it felt like nobody was in there?

Was going to order dessert but after 45 minutes there with a toddler must have been too long for them. Was in a rush to check me out on a Saturday at 5:15pm. Ran my card twice and have to dispute it with my bank. Happy birthday single mom!$10 tip turned to $3. Expected from a chain restaurant though. My bad. I knew better ? *Update* issue was resolved w/ tgi fridays within 6 days. Added a star because management was friendly and helpful.
