Pho Cali - Elma

The food is pretty good. All vegetables are fresh. You can make vegan dishes on request. relatively inexpensive. We have fallen several times.

I had never been to this restaurant before and decided to pick up some food on my way home. I called while driving to order a 31, but was informed they didn't have that and suggested I try the 33 instead. Since I couldn't look at a menu while driving, I asked for more information on the 33, but was abruptly hung up on. I quickly looked up the menu, called back, and mentioned the earlier hang-up. When trying to order the 33, I was then told they didn't have that either. When I asked what they did have, the response was "I don't know what you like, so look at the menu, thank you" before being hung up on again. This was one of the worst experiences I've had trying to order takeout. While the food may be good, the negligent behavior of the staff was unacceptable. This one incident has turned me off from ever trying this restaurant again. As someone with previous experience in the food service industry, I am truly shocked by this interaction. I rarely write reviews, but this experience was particularly bad.

Great food and excellent prices. The restaurant doesn’t look too nice from the outside but the food tastes delicious. The food is really flavorful. As we were leaving the server told us she had just made the pho we ordered that morning. Great place for food. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

I would give this restaurant a 10/10 rating, but they could potentially improve by including more pho broth for takeout orders. Besides that, the service is always fantastic. I had a takeout meal for lunch and the food was excellent. The service and atmosphere both received a top rating of 5.
