Dae Jang Geum - Ellicott City

This place may seem unassuming, but as someone who has lived in the area my whole life, I finally decided to give it a try with my family and a cousin visiting from Korea. The food was excellent, and I didn't have to wait more than an hour, unlike many other restaurants along Route 40. The service was attentive, and honestly, some of the reviewers here seem to expect a 5-star experience for the prices. Take it easy on them, and you'll leave feeling satisfied. On a busy Saturday night, there were only two servers handling all the tables, which is impressive. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning with friends and family.

What a fantastic discovery! My friends and I visited after a long day outdoors, and it was exactly what we needed. The food was incredible, and the service was even better!

This is arguably the best Korean food I've had in the area! Our fantastic waiter, Tae, was incredibly helpful in explaining the various options on the menu and made our experience truly exceptional. The numerous delicious side dishes complemented all of our meals perfectly! I highly recommend the bibim naengmyeon! Thank you, Tae; we will definitely be back soon!

It's a very quiet spot, but they offer some unique Korean dishes. The prices are on the higher side, but the service was excellent! I will definitely return.

The Korean BBQ here is outstanding! The marinated short beef ribs (양념 갈비) were incredibly delicious and juicy. Additionally, the service was very friendly.
