The Chimneys - Ellesmere Port

My experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. The appetizers and main dishes were not up to par and were poorly presented, looking like they had been mishandled during preparation. The staff told us that the kitchen was having trouble keeping up with orders. Despite the friendly demeanor of the staff, they seemed disorganized and we had to remind them about our appetizers and wait a long time for our main dishes. Overall, I would not choose to dine at this restaurant again.

I had a great experience at the restaurant. The staff was friendly, my go-to dish (ham hock) was delicious as usual, and I was happy to be seated at my favorite table, number 61.

It had been a while since our last visit to Chimneys, but we decided to give it another try on Mother's Day. It was clear that the new manager has brought significant improvements to the overall experience. The manager and staff were excellent during our visit - the service, food, and overall experience were very good. Despite the restaurant being full, the staff and manager remained calm and efficient, creating a pleasant dining experience. - D Cartwright

The food at this restaurant was average and typical of what you would expect from a pub. It was a bit on the expensive side and arrived cold. The service, however, was good.

Friendly service and my favourite (ham hock) was as beautiful as ever and I had to sit on my favorite 61!
