E Sushi Grill - Ellenton

Update: Sadly, E Sushi in Ellenton has closed and will be greatly missed.

We wanted sushi but didn't want to go far so we needed to try some place new. E Sushi Grill was having its Grand Opening so we had to try it. It is in Ellenton on the way to the Ellenton Outlet Mall. It's small but is clean and has a new building feeling. We sat at a table and were given menus. We ordered shrimp and vegetable tempura for our appetizer and chirashi for our entrees. The food was very good. The tempura was perfectly crunchy with a good dipping sauce and the chirashi had a good variety of fish over rice. I've heard they are only doing take-out now but it is a good place to get food to take home or sit by the river to eat. Prices are good. This would be a perfect lunch place when they open again.

The lady who owns this place is always in front she’s very rude!!!

Great food but a bit too expensive compared to other sushi restaurants. Especially for not having servers and everything coming in to-go containers.

This sushi place is excellent! The best sushi and hibachi around. Would highly recommend
