Red Horse Drive-in - Ellensburg

Charming diner with a lovely atmosphere and quick service! We stopped by after exploring the magic nearby. I had a root beer float, some fried mozzarella sticks, and two sandwiches whose names I've completely forgotten, but both were delicious! Don't forget to try the fry sauce at this place!

During our drive from Seattle to the Tri-Cities, we took a break halfway and decided to grab a bite to eat. We chose to stop at the Red Horse, and we were pleasantly surprised by our experience. The food was exceptional, and our waitress, Samantha, provided excellent service. After delivering our meals, she made sure everything was going smoothly without being intrusive or making us feel rushed. I enjoyed the burger and steak fries, while my fiancé absolutely loved the BLT and onion rings. We will definitely be back next time!

The restaurant has a lively atmosphere, and there's plenty of nostalgic decor to keep you entertained during busy times. Although it took 30 minutes for our burgers and fries to arrive, it was definitely worth the wait.

I was in town for a book and it was a beautiful morning and also my daughter, who was my birthday. She saw the retro building and asked if we could have breakfast there. Very clean amusement with a very friendly staff and good food. I ate breakfast, she had a burger. Great job! This from the author of The Reckoning of Rance. I try to get it as often as possible, if I’m ever passing through. It’s definitely worth the stop. If I lived nearby I’d go more often just for their fun outdoor patio. Food was good, and service was great. Wait was long, but we were warned.
