The Chalet - Elkhorn

Nice restaurant, always drove by and was on the list to try, so we made our birthday last night! My family enjoyed all their dishes (Steak, Burger Walleye and Lamb) and the ambience was very delightful. Our server was very polite and friendly even surprised us with a beautiful sweet treat! We look forward to returning the steaks

We had a great experience in this place, the waitress /Terry was sweet and attentive, the atmosphere cozy and the meal excellent. We ate the oysters rockefeller very good, seafood bisque flourorentin good / a bit thick but tasty none of the less, lambship very good and I save the best for last bronzed salmon /OMGOSH!!! Always looking for the next best fish fry and all you can eat. This one special feature was not disappointed. This fish was blue rough, one of the tender, fluffy seafood. They are offered 3 different types of potatoes, including English frits that are fantastic. Also included is Koleslaw and Hush puppies. They fried and baked. We chose the Frittierte. Very good! When we demanded a second portion of fish, we had to wait a bit; but they gave us free dessert for this mild inconvenience. All in all, delicious and servers were friendly.

The food is really good and the presentation is beautiful. Lighting is low and romantic. Great place for a date or friends. Open only Thursday to Saturday. The service is very friendly and good at their jobs.

Always great food and atmosphere. Had oysters that were fresh and pork Shank. What a great meal. Oh and don't forget about the Manhattans!
