Scooter's Coffee - Elkhorn

Got an immediate response from the order taker at the drive-thru and they were courteous. Not super speedy- just usual pace.Ordered my traditional Carmelicious Blender x-shot. Sometimes I prefer no whip (I don't recall if they attempted an upsell to cold foam at this location).The second item was blended peanut butter power. As usual, no complaints.

Not sure if this is a daily thing or just today. Litterly sat for 10 mins in drive thru waiting for someone to take my order. Im pretty patient until there a line of cars starting behind me and no one in front of me. Then I finally said something and someone took my order told me to pull to second window. I waited another 5-10mins and not even 1 person came to greet me at the window take payment or give me my drink.I ended up driving off as well as the other people behind me. I only had 1 drink I ordered. This has to be the worst location and experience Ive had at a scooters.

Terrible service. The drive thru line was so long so we went inside. Drive through was getting served quickly while the lobby was not. I waited 20 minutes for my order and people who came in after me had their orders before me. I had to ask where my order was they said it got “lost” and was making now. Then when I finally got it, it wasn’t even right and our sandwich was cold. No apologies, just “here’s your drink”. Will never go to that location again.

So I've never had Scooters until I moved here 3 years ago. I continue to give it a chance but it's really just not my jam when it comes to coffee or tea. Some pros about this location are the store is clean and service was good. But when it actually comes to the products I struggle. I've ordered hot coffee and cold with vanilla and cream and both times it feels like the drink is over powered by the vanilla flavor that they use. I opted for ice tea twice and both time the ice tea taste bitter. First time I thought I got a bad batch or maybe the bottom of the container but I've come to the conclusion that is just the way it's served. This particular location has a drive through for convenience or you can stop in and grab your drink. I will say this for those that like Scooters this location is always busy so they are doing something right.
