Sushimono - Elk Grove

So disappointing from what remember. They have really gone downhill. Went on a Friday night and it was dead. Instant red flag. Sushi rolls were covered in sauce and so much rice. Another red flag but people in Elk Grove don’t know know any better. I could go on but JUST AVOID AT ALL COST. This place has 3 stars for a reason. They just don’t care anymore. The hostess even turned down a couple 45 minutes before closing. They were shocked and saddened. Who refuses business or doesn’t want to work during these times. Actually this place does. Close down or rename to SushiNoNo. They’re so understaffed because no one wants to work for them. There’s even a sign at every table with the excuse on why they’re so terrible. Shame, disgraceful and such bad luck.

Sushi is not bad. It's actually quite decent but really not my jam. Lots of rice. Fish on sushi(nigiri is small, fries are very common on menu(lots of items come with something fried. Very filling. So if it's your preference, go for it.Food: 2/5

Old fish the sushi was smelly would never go back but decent price and was edible
