We ordered a well done and an extra well done, both coming out where ****. Blood was everywhere on the plate. When we cut in it, both steaks were raw. I'll do it with a napkin.
Place was very good. I felt like eating breakfast at 7 p.m., and this place filled the desire perfectly. Food tasted good and was worth my money. It is also not far from my house and the server was very friendly. The reason I left a 4 star because I have been in places where the potatoes and eggs feel fresher and more tasty than homemade cooking (Cricket's Country Kitchen in Sacramento), while here it was only good and the bread had much butter (I would ask for bread with butter on the side next time). If you do not want that far from Elk Grove and want something that is not close to 2pm, but this place is perfect. But I have to say that the bacon was the best cooked bacon I've ever had.
Breakfast is served for lunch, and Diners are my absolute favorite. My sister ordered a waffle, and my mother ordered French toast while I ordered a skill. Absolutely delicious, and the Arnold Palmer I ordered was made perfect. Some places brew the tea a little too dark for me, so it is bitter, but that was perfect and it was incredibly refreshingly mixed with the lemonade. Our hosts and servers were both incredibly friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back here in the future!
Big little diner, a feeling of 50s. Great food and was not too crowded when any other restaurant in the area waits for a 2 hours.
Food was awesome, I had the shrimp and crab omelette with biscuit and gravy and country potatoes. Service was slow, but every table was packed with a line outside. Prices are really reasonable and staff was friendly. I will definitely make Mike's Dinner a new favorite for Elk Grove
