Przekaż informację zwrotnąHooray for HappyCow! I didn't know that Tatas offers vegetarian options. I give it 4 stars because finding veg*n-friendly Polish cuisine can be quite challenging. Tatas has 9 vegetarian flavors, 6 of which are vegan, in addition to 4 dessert pierogi flavors (2 of which are vegan). It seems they've adapted standard recipes to include vegetarian options, but I would recommend asking about specific ingredients. The online menu features a vegan or vegetarian sampler with 10 pierogi, which is a convenient option. Otherwise, you can order in groups of 12 pierogi with up to 2 flavors per dozen. Besides cabbage rolls and their hunter's stew, which I wasn't aware of, they also serve vegetarian dumplings (potato or wheat), accompanied by butter. The pierogi are delicious and indulgently greasy—perfect comfort food. My favorite filling is still the sour cherry, and the tiny chocolate pierogi are incredibly rich (kind of like Nutella). They're about the size of a 50-cent piece, and I wouldn't recommend eating more than 1 or 2 at a time. The interior is beautiful, and the staff is friendly and helpful. A chalkboard above the counter displays the menu with the same details found on a larger chalkboard on the wall that leads to the restroom.
The vegan options are clearly labeled on the menu. The food was delicious, and the service was attentive.
The vegan pierogis are clearly labeled in the app. I highly recommend the kartoffel and wobbles! Even if they have been delivered from the restaurant, they taste so much better when pan-fried!
My order here is the lentil and kartoffel
