Happy Elephant - Elk Grove Village

So I used to go to this Thai place in Addison that had some of the best Thai food and my favorite dish which is drunken noodles. Unfortunately that place closed due to the pandemic. So I have find a new Thai place. Sadly this wasn?t it for me. I ordered myusual dish with shrimp and a coconut shrimp appetizer. The coconut shrimp was the best part. The DN? Well it didn?t taste likethe drunken noodles that I usually expect from Thai cuisine. I also tasted pineapple and I never had pineapple on the disheither idk. The noodles were find but the seasonings felt bland. Could have used more. Also the size of the dinner entree dishlooked more like a lunch special size potion. SMH. Well at least the coconut shrimp was delicious along with the sweet and soursauce. Great crunch and flavor. Nice balance. But oh well, I?ll be looking elsewhere for my beloved drunken noodles.

This restaurant is a fantastic place to escape to! Make sure to try their peanut sauce, it's incredibly delicious. I've been coming here for years and have never had a negative experience. It's a lovely family-run business.

I ordered the chicken pad thai for the second time. I was surprised to find it also had tofu in it, which was not mentioned in the description. The dish was very dry and lacked flavor. I was disappointed and will not be returning to this restaurant again.

I love this Thai restaurant! The service is exceptional and I always enjoy my visits here. The pot stickers and crab Rangoon are fantastic. I usually order the Pad Woonsen or Pad Thai and both are delicious.

I had an amazing dining experience at Happy Elephant that reminded me of the delicious food I had in Thailand. Every time I order from there, I feel like I am transported back to my time in Thailand. The food is not only delicious with perfect portions, but they also took my zöliakie dietary requirements into consideration and cooked my food accordingly. Despite this, the taste was never compromised and I never had any reactions. It was pure joy to eat there and I am grateful for the opportunity to taste authentic Thai cuisine that truly transports me back to Thailand. Happy Elephant goes above and beyond in bringing the taste of other countries to their customers. Thank you for this amazing experience.
