The menu is marked. brittle sprudel with balsam glaze and soft Bretzel bits are the appetizers, burger choices are quinoa black bean or beyond burger. they have vegan bungalows on request. vegan chili dog and vegan bratwurst also available. also a chopped caesar bowl, a Greek salate, chopped thai erdnussalat, a brown rice and quinoa bowl, a squash bowl and home salad are plant heavy choices. the vegan disco sausage was fantastic. the senfsauce! yum. updated by previous review on 2022-05-21
This is a mellow little brewery where we came to grab a few drinks as that's what was just totally good for that given night. My review is only based off of the beer as that's all we had! Of them I went with an IPA first as that's just what I wanted it was yummy and had a good balance of hops making for what was totally good for the time being beer. Then the next round it was all about the lemonade shandy as this style of beer is always a fun one to get in between other hoppy goodness and I must say the lemonade shandy was perfect with a good balance of what you might expect in a shandy! Overall this was a chill spot to grab a few brews who knows if I'll get here again but it's definitely not out of the question for some beers'
As for the food, one burger was decent, but the Reuben on a brioche bun was strange. The Honey Hot Chicken Sandwich did not resemble the pictures and was on a stale bun that fell apart. The fries were the best part of the meal, and the wings were okay. The restroom was clean, but it was odd that the food window was located outside the restroom. Overall, we will not be returning to this restaurant.
Driving through Etonian on a Friday evening we made an impromptu visit to Funks for a bite to eat and a pint to drink. Had the Ruben sandwich and a cup of chili, both of which were very good. Beers were tasty. Ordering took a little longer than usual (need to work on that) but the food came out of kitchen quickly. Employees were very friendly. If you are on Main St in Etown and looking for pub food, this is a good spot.
