Portillo's Hot Dogs - Elgin

Portillo’s has always been a place of high quality food. pasta: love it, hot dogs: ingenious, burger: excellent, etc., however, the wobble rings are a complete foaming. Why was that they say? because when you pass the incredibly crispy outside, the woof is thin. maybe even less than paper thin. wobbles were always one of my favorites and I had much so thought I have a reasonably good idea of a quality wobbles ring when I see it. I often had portillos wobbles and it's always the same through wobble. if they don't mind giving up their money, what I call on onions-flameed-bread-crumm rings, they'll go for it. if she 've a taste for real wobble rings, I can respectfully suggest popeyes on rt 64 59. Yeah, I get the family size for me. they are great. most popeyes do they not so enjoy them while they can. portillo has many good options for eating, bevelling rings are not one of them.

When was a bark n cheddar croissant the same size as a hotdog? small croissant and barely bark! for the smaller part and the sky high prices, I will go somewhere else forward.

All Portillos restaurants are pretty standard nowadays. They still can throw down. The Burgers are always on point. Sometimes they can be a little on the warm side, but overall, still pretty good. The bar area here is similar to all the rest, they always gotta get a manager to pour the beer but the wait is really short. The frosty glasses are unique to Portillos, averaging between 15-16 ounces. The decor is nice, lots of old antiques and stuff, lots of neon. An older Portillos employee stopped at our table and had a nice conversation with us, asked how everything was, and this made us feel good deep down inside our souls. Shout out to that guy. Good experience overall. Definitely stop by, and don?t wait in the drive thru lanes, that?s just straight crazy. Thumbs up. ??

Do you have to check this? in the mood for diner eating. inside looks like a diner from the 70-80s. great food! super busy, but just wait a minute for my eating. would definitely recommend!

Where is the bark? No, in serious? in the run of the years it was less and less and they are calculating more and more. my pommes were almost 3/4 full. I love you portillos, but can I have some meat on my sandwich?
