Checkers - Elgin

We visited the restaurant late at night, hoping for decent food despite the hour, and to my surprise, I was genuinely impressed! I ordered a double bacon burger, and wow, there was so much fresh bacon! The person taking our order was polite and funny, making it the best experience I've had there. Usually, I go during lunchtime and have encountered terrible service and overcooked chili, along with dry hamburger meat. I hadn't been there in a year, but after last night, I'm definitely considering going back!

Fry burgers are excellent and the new chicken crunch sandwich is extremely delicious. The two day women working for checkers are extremely friendly and they remember the return customers. You should make more advertising on the baseball field Trout Park. There are many who are from the city with the field and do not know that you are nearby.

The only checkers in the area are frustrating. Never had a problem with orders here, and they're kind. I love checkers, but they have to expand again.
