Great pizza place. Very unbelievable, but once we got in, it was great. Wide range of food and beer. Very cool place!

The pizza here is fantastic and it is a quick stop from 290 to get a cold beer and a hot pizza check there selection of drinks and inovative pizzas! Really a jewel of Elgin!

Aviator is my place for hands-down the best pizza round, and has been for many years. The staff is friendly and efficient, the indoor eating is spacious and easily lends itself to social distancing, even while a good number of customers. Since I'm not a beer drinker, I can't go into the quality of your beer, but the beer menu seems to offer a wide and varied selection. If I'm looking for a pizza, I'll call Aviator. I don't even worry about the others, though they're closer. Why gamble on the also-rans? It's aviator for me and mine.

My wife and I drove from Austin to eat something on the father's day. I eaten pizza, so she lit up when she saw a sign for an excellent pizza from Aviator Pizza in two exits. We decided to share on 18 and went with pepperoni and basil with black olives. The cashier and sole employee on the front was very friendly and humorous as we decided by the menu. There is nothing very special, but not everyone takes care of our humour or rarity, so respect it. The pizza arrived shortly (plus for time) and we buried. It was very tasty and the crust was very satisfying. I can't make the taste quite, but it seemed like a homemade or high end pastry because the taste lingers, and in a good way. It was one of my favorite crusts. The rest of the pizza was also great and is up there with the best. Aviator Pizza is nowhere near where I live, but if I make a trip to Austin again, I will certainly make it a point to stop. I'd say it's worth leaving the city limits to get a better pizza.

What a gem; lucky Elgin! We are from out of town and decided to give Aviator a try. What a great decision! The food is so fresh. They made the dough and prepare the ingredients in house and it sure shows. So much delicious flavor! And the pizzas come to you looking like a picture out of a magazine. They are full of ingredients spread evenly around the pizza. They have 20 options on tap and super happy they carry an Eastcider. I wish it wasn’t an hours drive but we will be back. Definitely want to try the salads and pastas next time. The owner definitely takes such pride in his business and he is so welcoming. He greeted everybody that came through the door and also said good bye to each of us.
