Carl's Jr. - El Toro

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. First of all, they were out of chicken biscuits, which was the main reason I came. Then, the patty on the Western Bacon Cheeseburger was surprisingly small, about the same size as a regular cheeseburger. To top it off, the burger itself was really dry; it felt like it had been sitting out for a while before being served. Overall, it tasted bland and resembled a dry, flavorless sandwich.

The 1/3 lb Angus burgers are the best drive-thru option you'll find. I would give it 5 stars if they didn't use so much sauce.

It’s worth noting that California state law requires that if a gift card originally valued at over $10 has a balance of less than $10, the customer may request cash back, and the business is obliged to comply. For comparison, Home Depot’s self-service registers automatically dispense any remaining balance when it falls below that threshold. It's a shame to see such customer service fail, and I believe Carl Karcher would be disappointed.
