Loved the proximity to Yosemite Park, We had a river view space and it was beautiful. We were able to go to the river and hang and it was so cool! Loved the pizza place and the bar on the grounds as well as the shop in the check-in area that has almost everything you could need! Our room had a fireplace that would be nice if you went in winter, we also had a balcony overlooking the river. Only a pool was opened when we were there.

This is an excellent establishment and a good opportunity to spend a holiday. Perfect for developing the pressures of everyday life... I would recommend this lodge to anyone or a family who wants to enjoy some of the natures, the most prevalent sites. Enjoy...

Cosy and rustic rooms with large jet tubs and shower heads. Some rooms sit on the side of the Merced River with a terrace and have fireplaces in rooms. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. While the property is older, everything was maintained and maintained. There is a restaurant, 4 pools and a laundromat that was a great bonus for me as we travel cross country. Several reviews had less pleasant experiences, but I feel that this can happen everywhere. I address some of them here with my own experience and feedback. 1. The housekeeping service is unlike a hotel with daily refreshment of bed linen, towels and toiletries, but everything is clearly explained by the staff on arrival. You will replace everything on request, but simply do not have room service daily. 2. WLAN is an additional $10 per 24 hours period. Speeds can be slow and are limited to 2 devices per room. This can be a deal breaker for some, but considering the remote location it is completely understandable. I would also ask why you visit Yosemite.

So to be a great place if you want to be close to Yosemite without paying the steep price to stay in the park. About 7 or 10 minutes drive to the entrance to the park. We have a river view room and it was such a beautiful side plus the sound of the water and a private back terrace was a plus. We definitely stay here again. It was great that it was a dog friendly place.

The Pepsi we ordered was literally water. I am not sure if it was the machine but this one seemed like diluted Pepsi !!! They did mention unlimited refills but what is the point when you add water !!! Vegetarian options: I could see one vegetarian option on the menu and French fries !!
