Rivas Taco Shop - El Paso

Best place I've found so far! I've only been here for a week, and this restaurant is fantastic. I'm not giving it five stars due to a few minor issues. The meat was a bit salty, my Coke wasn't cold, and the staff wasn't very serious, though they were polite and helpful. My wife ordered an achimiechanga, and my kids had a carne asada quesadilla—both were really delicious. I ordered what I refer to as cielo, mar y tierra, which includes grilled chicken, grilled meat, and shrimp, and it was quite good. However, I felt that the hot sauce detracted from my burrito a bit; just a tip: the red hot sauce is quite spicy. I would suggest swapping it out for a chipotle salsa instead. Other than that, everything was good. I’ll likely return soon to try more items from the menu.

The Taco Supreme platter is my favorite! Their food has a rich, savory flavor and the perfect seasoning that keeps me returning. And you can't go wrong with their cucumber water—it's absolutely delicious!

It seems like it's been a long time since the owner took the time to sit down and experience their own restaurant. Rivas may have had its heyday, but now it’s just a disappointing mix of oversalted, low-quality food sold at high prices. I ordered the nachos, and the watery guacamole was carelessly piled to one side. There was barely any cheese or beans, which aren't exactly expensive ingredients, so I’m puzzled by the lack of them. If you’re not a local with fond memories of this place, I strongly recommend spending your money elsewhere. This restaurant is simply unacceptable.

Yeah these tacos are off the chain. The Asada fries are highly recommend. Will not be disappointed with them. And if you?re craving dessert try the strawberry ???? churro alamode ????????????????????????????????

The food is incredible, the customer service is welcoming, and the facilities are spotless. Rivas consistently exceeds expectations; I highly recommend this restaurant. Parking is also a breeze!
