Hilda's Tamales - El Paso

I had a fantastic experience meeting Hilda, the owner. The Mexican food was delicious, and I would definitely like to eat there again if I'm in the area!

I didn't end up eating there because when I walked in and waited to place my order, a man entered behind me and was immediately attended to. They completely ignored me, not even greeting me. I decided to turn around and leave. I've seen other reviews mentioning similar experiences, so it seems there's some truth to it. The place also had a strong smell of old grease, so perhaps it was a blessing in disguise that they were rude to me.

This place has been there for over 15 years. Decided to finally stop by. I ordered some fried tacos. The tortillas were stale chicken was nasty. The beans n green sauce tasted as if they were sitting there for days. NOTHING WAS FRESH.. PLUS EXPENSIVE.. NEVER AGAIN...

Poor quality food over priced we tried the menudo and tamales both were lacking taste and seem like they where weeks old not freshly made.
