During my visit to El Paso, I made sure to stop by Bowie Bakery before I left. I tried some pan dulce, along with red tamales, green chicken tamales, and queso with chile. I was blown away by how delicious everything was! The lady at the counter also gave fantastic service.
Have been a fan of the pineapple empanada but recently I noticed the filling has changed, it's a bit darker in color and the pastry is thicker not as flaky and thin as before. :

Called to see what type of tamales they had and she got so irritated from me asking that like if I was asking her to do something that’s out of the world. And mind you I called when it wasn’t busy
