Ardovino's Pizza - El Paso

Very slow service. Very nice waiters and waitresses but the amount of time it takes between being seated and our food being order is too long. The wait for our food to come out when the restaurant was not busy at all was also too long.

First off, the service is like a warm hug on a rainy day—top-notch! And when that cheesy goodness arrives at your table right on time, it's like a symphony of flavors dancing on your taste buds. Usually visit Ardovino's for lunch with my friend. Always good food, great service and comfortable atmosphere.

Our visit was pretty frustrating, thanks to Fernando, the guy seemingly in charge of the wait staff. We were just 15 minutes over their closing time, and he’d already told us to pack up and leave three times. We were trying to hurry up, but his rush felt over the top, especially when he mentioned something about needing to get minors home—a point that left us more puzzled than anything.Things really took a turn for the worse when he started yelling from the bar area. I suggested he focus on letting the minors go home if he was so concerned, and that’s when he told me to lower my voice and even threatened to call the police, even when he was the one that started the conversation by yelling literally from the bar.Fernando’s handling of the situation was disappointing, rude, and just plain strange. The food might be good, but with that kind of service vibe, I think I’d rather take an extra few minutes to go somewhere else next time.
