Dairy Queen Grill Chill - El Dorado

I went to the restaurant hoping to try their advertised chicken bites, but I had a frustrating experience. The lines were long and slow, so I wouldn't recommend going during lunch hours. I spent 18 minutes in the drive-thru only to find that both orders contained frozen chicken bites. We had to wait another 15 minutes to get it sorted out. While the chicken bites were good, the wait wasn't worth it. I suggest calling ahead to place your order and asking them to double-check it. The staff was very friendly and apologetic throughout the process, though.

The food here is quite good, but let's talk about dessert. They offer pre-made ice cream cakes and sell number candles as well. I have a fondness for their orange Julius drink; it reminds me of my childhood. My kids really enjoy the Blizzards – they're very sweet and loaded with toppings. The funnel cakes are great, too. Plus, when I left, the bathroom was very clean.

They have an amazing deal where you can enjoy burgers, fries, and ice cream for just $6. You really can't beat that!

This is my first time visiting the Dairy Queen in El Dorado and the food was hot, the fries were fresh and salted to perfection. They literally forgot about my order and they had just said my number. You know what, mistakes happen. They quickly rectify the problem and I was on my way.
