Romano's Macaroni Grill El Cerrito

GREAT VALENTINES DAY! WAITER WAS GTEAT! FOOD WAS GREAT! EVERYTHING GREAT!!

We had a great server, but the service was a bit slow. It appeared that the kitchen was struggling to keep up with orders, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. It took longer than expected to receive our food.

Steak was well cooked, medium rare. Serving was good not ample. Could have served more broccoli(was a little skimpy). Service was excellent. Calamari appetizer was good. Cabernet wine was excellent.

Three of us went to dinner on Christmas in the late afternoon. All of us ordered the Prime Rib, which was a bit fatty. The broccoli was overly tough and the mashed potatoes were not hot enough. Our waiter, Jerome, was friendly and attentive.

I ordered the prime rib. Mostly fat. Presentation was kind of sloppy. My companion had the seafood ravioli which was okay. Inexperienced staff. It was Christmas eve so I assume the more experienced folks asked for and got the night off.
