Also some cute art shops to browse. The view from the restaurant are second to none, great place to take in the beach and crashing waves.
Make sure you stop here! We came across this restaurant/cafe while visiting Luskentyre. We had the most delicious bacon ciabattas and scones. The size of the scone was huge and the cream was to die for. Lovely staff. We would highly recommend.
A great facility offering a restaurant, rest rooms shops. All with a fantastic views. The food was very tasty, good portions value for money. The gallery displayed work by local artists the shops sold a good variety of quality items. Loads of information for tourists as well Dogs allowed.
Found this fabulous, modern restaurant which is Pet friendly during our holiday to Lewis Harris. I usually have to go inside a restaurant to check if they are pet friendly, but this place has a clear sign outside with guidance very smart helpful. Two tables set aside for guests with a dog inside along with outside seating area. Varied menu and a spacious dining area with great views. Staff helpful friendly Unice had special attention which was much appreciated. Thanks to All.
On the booking form you're asked if this is a special occasion it was. We were celebrating my 50th birthday. Don't know why they asked, we weren't seated at a window so had to enjoy the view around other people's heads and there was no mention of the occasion at all. The starters were delicious tomato soup and haggis bonbons. The staff were friendly and efficient. The main courses were a disappointment on the whole. The fish and chips fish cooked to perfection but the chips had clearly come out of the freezer and were oven chips. At £16.50 we expected better. The chicken and pesto tagliatelle was lovely for the first few mouthfuls, but became greasier and oilier the more I ate. I left half of it. The atmosphere was fairly non existent as if people were scared to speak. The noise from the kitchen was a bit overwhelming especially when metal trays (or metal somethings) were banged with force onto metal work tops. We had anticipated a lovely meal and were prepared to pay for it. In the end we felt slightly conned.
