Peking Cuisine - Eilean Siar

Chicken was massive,overcooked and bland. Each portion was half a kilo, with no indication in the menu of the size or number of pieces! Sauce was a sugar Syrup with a hint of ketchup,had the colour of strawberry syrup, rather than the sweet and sour...sauce you get anywhere else in the country. Egg fried rice was bland and had no egg in it. Veg Chow mein was plain overcooked dry noodles, no flavour, just one slab of dry noodles in a tub. Portions were so big we could have ordered half the amount and we are big big eaters. Wasted money and wasted food, menu should state for Pancake rolls and chips were good.

Love Chinese food and we were looking forward to our meal but sadly it was not good. The duck was so overcooked it was hardly edible and the batter around the prawns so thick it spoilt the meal. We tried a few other dishes and...wuite frankly i will not be back.

The food was good although the squid was frozen. The service was great and friendly staff. It is quite expensive in comparison to the other high quality place there are in Stornoway. Good if you are stuck on a Sunday night.

This is a very nice little restaurant and takeaway and very nice and happy people that work there and the food was taste we sat in and had a takeaway to never had a problem

They got our order wrong, which we didn't realise till we were miles away at our holiday let, food was terrible, went straight through if you know what I mean... avoid at all costs
