Cafe Sonas - Eilean Siar

Nice eatery at the end of the road literally! We were in the Road End Cottage across the way so had to eat here upon arrival on a Saturday night. Good service nice food. lovely view of harbour and when it gets dark the fairy lights are a nice touch.

Beautiful view of harbour. We are fish finger sandwich and a soup. Both were delicious and the serving staff really friendly.

We stopped in here as part of a small tour group but were not impressed, we asked for a table and were given a menu and noone came back for our order after 10 mins so we just left. Service wasnt pleasant at all and prices were a bit steep on the menu too. Others on our tour were last to be served and held our group up, not very well organised and lack of staff. Not impressed at all.

Amazing view from the restaurant over the beach and harbour. Would recommended taking the trip to Port of Ness just to eat here!! The staff were all very lovely and the food was yummy, and the coffee v good.

Now The Breakwater! Excellent pizza, and great staff. Serve soup of the day, nachos, pizza, toasties sandwiches and panini. Sides of fries, garlic bread and some kids options! Ice cream and pudding and alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.
