Le Cottage - Éguzon-Chantôme

Popped to a restaurant in San Sebastián for lunch but it was closed. A local recommended we go to Le Cottage. Didn’t know it but it was a 5 minute drive, so decided to try it. So glad we did. Stopped there asked if they allowed dogs, which they did, so we went in. A really lovely, eclectic decor, lots of bears! Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Ordered salad starters, which were huge, fresh and good. Main courses were steak and trout. Really fresh and extremely were cooked. Crème brûlée, ice cream and a Charlotte for desserts. All excellent and extremely good value. Will definitely be going back. A great find.

Have been going to Le Cottage for some years. Always a warm welcome from owners and staff. Good beers, wine and food.

What a lovely space and really original! Insured change and space between tables!

A little bit removed from the n. 20, but it's worth the detour. Excellent cuisine, recommended by a hearty homemade dish waitress.
