The salad bar is impressive, featuring a wide array of fresh fruits and vegetables, and they often have homemade cake available on the buffet as well, which is a delightful treat. The setup resembles a traditional kitchen; you get in line, grab your drinks and sides, and then pay at the end. The dining room is spacious, so there's plenty of room to sit and enjoy your meal. If you’re visiting Effingham, it’s conveniently located downtown on Fayette Avenue at a place called Kirby's (formerly IGA). Just look for the big sign – you can't miss it! They serve the buffet from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, making it perfect for an early lunch or a late lunch/early dinner. Go in and enjoy!

This restaurant is a buffet located within the Kirby/IGA grocery store. You enter through the store itself. After grabbing a tray with plates, you can choose your meal, but drinks are charged separately, though refills are free. For just $7.99, you can enjoy a salad bar, a fruit bar, the entree of the day, the potato of the day, and a variety of desserts.

Always a great place to go for coffee, or the morning buffett for meeting friends for conversation.
