This longstanding establishment serving Polish cuisine can be quite hit or miss. While they aim to create large, homemade Polish and Slovak dishes reminiscent of Grandma's cooking, it’s a bit disappointing to see the inconsistency.
A friend of mine hosted a birthday party for her husband yesterday and decided to order from Konefal's off-site catering menu. She chose a variety of dishes including pierogies and filled bowls...
Old school restaurant with the most amazing Polish foods. it looks like the decoration has not changed since its opening, but it is clean and eating is exactly what they would dream of a traditional Polish restaurant. the pierogis are a must. the kombiplatte is a good way to taste their food and their kebalska appetizer is good. her mac and cheese were amazing. heaps of food, cheap with great service. can't wait to come back!
The dinner brought me back to my teenagers and eat at my tante and onkels to house off hazel st in Wilkes-Barrie. the kielbasa, picked beats, swarms and koleslaw were a pleasant memory w/ every bit. for me the atmosphere and the authentic Polish meal were worth the 3-1/2 hours drive from our home in West Yortha. we will return!
