The Tandoor Factory - Edson

This restaurant in the oil patch working town of Edson, Alberta is a bit unexpected. It serves Indian cuisine and is located in the lounge for the workers and guests of Hotel Howard Johnson. While they also offer other pub dishes, I highly recommend trying the Indian food as it is delicious. I had the chicken dish and it was amazing, served with appetizer soup and Naan bread. The prices are very reasonable and the service from server Neil was excellent; he was informative and helpful.

The Indian food at this restaurant was excellent. The service was also great, with staff explaining each dish, and even the chef coming out to check on our meal. The menu is extensive, but the Indian food is the standout option. Unfortunately, the restaurant does not allow children as it is still licensed as a bar. If you enjoy spicy food, you will not be disappointed here.

They do offer other pub fare food as well but I do recommend that you try there Indian food because it's great. I tried the butter chicken and it was incredible. Came with a starter soup and Naan bread. Very reasonable prices and great service from the server Neil who was very informative and helpful.

The India food was very good. Service was really good as well and would explain what the dishes where. The chef came out to ask about our meal also. They do have a full menu but indian food is the go to. One negative is that kids can not go into the restaurant as it is still licensed as a bar. If you like hot food go and enjoy you will not be disappointed.

I discovered this restaurant while working in the area and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious sushi rolls and teriyaki beef bowl. The portions were generous and the service was good. This is now my new favorite go-to place.
