Hot wings were excellent, nice portion size (not too much) and had hoped to try Mama's Meatballs or Mama's Meatball Sub, however, unfortunately they were out. Opted for a Rueben sandwich (great fries, ok sandwich) instead. Service was attentive and excellent. Overall an ok bar meal, just wish they had more Edmonton and/or Alberta-made products and craft beer selection.
We stopped in here on our way to the Garth Brooks concert and were very pleasantly surprised. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and the food was terrific! The manager stopped by at least 3 times to check on us and our waitress was great. The pub is literally a 5-minute walk to Roger's Arena so it was a the perfect place to grab a meal and drinks before the show. Especially since they had a $5/pint special on which is far superior to the ridiculous $12/beer they wanted at the arena! Highly recommend it!
We stopped there before the Garth Brooks show and it wasn't busy yet so we were lucky to get a table. Good pub food and drinks and our server was great! Never checked out the games, music was a bit loud.
Went here with friends and my husband to watch a hockey game. I've been before on a weekend night and found it fun (their cover band that regularly performs is great) but a bit crowded.Coming for the pub atmosphere was a nice change. The pretzels are amazing and their veggie burger was surprisingly good (a bit messy, but I did add a fried egg - recommended). Also seeing as not all of us were totally interested in the hockey game and hockey talk (me), having the option to go play a few arcade games was a nice Segway :)
If you came in the past, you may have noticed everything on the menu was deep fried, but I did enjoy the deep fried avocado tacos. They have a new chef and most everything is now not deep fried. Most of the items they had available when there were sandwiches, such as the Rueban which I had. It was stuffed with pastrami and was tasty. Not always packed with people and it was quite empty two hours before the hockey game. Not always open before noon and maybe closed Mondays, so just check to make sure.
