Syphay - Edmonton

Food was very good, the person who served us yong was very rude I didn’t like his attitude at all. When I called the restaurant one day before to reserve the table for 7 they told that we could use the 4 Groupon. But when we went in to restaurant the person who served us was very trouble.

The food was good but the customer service was terrible. Our server “yong”was so so mean to us. We went in a group of 7…not sure why he discriminated us so badly.When we called to reserve a table they told us clearly they would take any number of Groupon coupons but when we went to the place his voice was so arrogant I couldn’t believe it. He treated us like as if he’s giving his food for free. We’ve been to so many restaurants in Edmonton but never experienced worst customer service like him. He was passive aggressive, fake sincerity and people could clearly see this. If he was mean to everybody I would assume maybe he’s going through some hard times but he was so nice to other customers behind us.I only reason I’m writing was when I asked the other girl (server)about him and told her wish he could be nice when we’re leaving she went and told him about it and they both were literally looking and laughing at us. Won’t return to this place again. 100% not recommended!Wish syphay could take care of this attitude.

Not the service we're accustomed to at Syphay. Waitress needs training; reluctant to take drinks order 1st then food order.Provided 4 of the 5 drinks. Forgot one then had us wait 20 minutes for our food order.At least 10 minutes between first person's dish and last person's.Still the best food in town. Rollie

Prob best Thai food I’ve had in a very long time! Food has so much flavour, huge portions and the staff are super friendly everytime! I’ll never stop going here!

Food was good, portions are small for how expensive it was (tohm yum $16 for a bowl), green curry is deceptively small for the plate that it was presented on. Fried rice was great.Service was good, water was refilled regularly.Place was nice and spaced out, felt no rush to leave after eating. Made the dining experience nice
