Sorrentino's South - Edmonton

I had the half over of 4 cheese cream ravioli and my niece had the full size fettuccine bolognese. Both were quite delightful although the ravioli was quite rich so ate it slowly. Will definitely get the fettuccine next time, service was great and prompt...would highly recommend this place :

I 've checked out this spot a few times. Each time really good food and service. This time was a little different, it wasn 't initially my typical experience. Ordered and when the bread came request an additional side of olive oil and vinegar. Had to ask a pleasant bus boy. Our server remembered after the fact. Order came incorrect but the food runner corrected it before he walked away. Packing up the incorrect order for me to take 'to go '. Server came over to apologize and said my dish was taken off the bill. No I didn 't eat with who I was with but the staff 'put out the fire ' before it even started. Reconized error and made sure I wasn 't leaving anything but satisfied with the service, bill and food. I give Sorrentio 's South a 5 star because of the consistency, food and customer service. Sure this visit was not 100% but accidents/off days happen and everything was rectified before voicing my dismay. I will dine here again and look forward to it!

Great dinner options and very tasty! If you're looking for a traditional tiramisu I would pass here, it's more like a cake

The short bad/good of it The bad: It could really s bit more light in the entrance of the building it was a little dark to the point, we were not sure that it was open. the good: food is very delicious and true for Italian style preparation. The skill of the cook is obvious. Very clean interior and great service Details: Very good selection of dishes here from the menu! I tried her chicken main filled with prosciutto and prawn with a creamy thyme mustard sauce that was surprisingly light. Everything was well cooked and the chicken had a good balance of filling. Enough for taste, but not enough to be a mess. My table mat had a sorentino pizza and it was also fantastic from the few little bites I had. The dough was cooked, but still soft and full of taste, while the toppings were nicely distributed. It was a little creepy pizza to eat, but if it wasn't so good! The drinks were made very good, though a little slanted to wine, but given the type of restaurant that is given a little. I know we're back.
