The menu offers a wide variety of options, the ambiance is delightful, and the tempura is exceptional.

Our reservation had some issues, but the restaurant host quickly and professionally accommodated us. We were seated on the hibachi side, which was fine, though quite chilly due to the lack of an air lock door system between the outdoors and the restaurant. The hibachi table wasn’t pre-lit, so it took a full 20 minutes to heat up, and the chef had to return to get it started. Our orders were handled correctly, and the chef’s show was entertaining, featuring all the typical hibachi flair. The food was delicious, and drinks were refilled promptly. Overall, it was a good experience, with one significant drawback: the restaurant’s ventilation and oil filters were not functioning properly. The floors were greasy with oil, and the smell of rancid oil permeated the place to the extent that it lingered on our clothing, following us to the car and home, and even into the next day. Our coats will need to be dry cleaned. Yuck!

I absolutely love this restaurant! The service is outstanding, the food is of excellent quality, and they are very accommodating with gluten-free options and keto-friendly portions, which makes it one of my favorites. This will definitely become a regular spot for us!

This is the best Japanese restaurant on the Northside. Service is great and food is spectacular. So nice to find a great place close to home.
