Nagoya Japanese Cuisine - Edmonton

The Sushi, Maki Nigiri were very good. I also ordered chow mein forgot to take pictures. Service is top notch. 10/10

Food was decent nothing special, the waitress was extremely annoying tried to flirt for a tip in front of my wife! which is extremely unprofessional. She also made it difficult to order a 16 piece vegetarian combo, acted like I was asking for some magical deal or something, then 3 times or so made comments about how little we ordered like we were wasting their time!! Even tho we ordered 3 different things and the bill was just under $50 Definitely won't be coming back again!!!

This was the first time I didnt finish the ramen. I think that says a lot.So I wanted Tonkotsu ramen, but I got TonKATSU ramen?According to the menu I got a tonkatsu base tonkatsu ramenOn the menu theres two broth bases, tomato and tonkatsu.Now im pretty sure they meant tonkotsu and not tonkatsu, honestly that should have been the red flag for me right there.Definitely not what I meant to get, what I meant to get was the Bbq pork ramen cause im assuming thats what the chashu is.I dont think it would have made much of a difference though.The broth was bad, its comparable to fast food ramen broth. It definitely has that instant feelAnd then the noodles, im not sure how they make it, but when you bite into it, theres an initial gross taste to it. It was really hard to eat even though the consistency was good.And then only half an egg, also not great.The only reason this isnt a 1 star is because I also got the beef donburi takeout which was not too bad. (Even though it looked pretty unappetizing in its appearance)Should have expected this from a fusion restaurantNagoya?More like Naw, go yeah?

Sushi is fresh, tried their Joey’s special roll, but didn’t care for the Korean sauce, it was too sweet. Tuna tataki was a good portion size. The server was friendly, the restaurant is new and clean. The total accumulated fast and was a little more then I expected.
