Located in a strip of shopping mall behind a McDonald's, this restaurant is a truly Indian food, as you probably get in this part of the world. Not unusual, but not expensive to check!
The ordered foods only take out to find a used bandaid in my Sambhar at the end of my meal. Couldn't eat for two days in a row. Nasty Place does not worry about public health and safety. Lazy owner, will never be back!!!!
I like this place. Many restaurants in the city claim that they serve Kerala Food. Most of them serve North Indian. The buffet in this place is great. If you go to the other Kerala restaurant in the city, you have to pay for each... individually. Try once, you will like it if you really need Kerala taste. The only thing I couldn't find here is Fish Biriyani.
Do not get fooled by external appearances, this restaurant has unique flavour-full food. Edmonton is The Place for authentic ethnic food. About Indian Food it does not get any better in Edmonton than in Millwoods. Restaurants there are nice, have a great value for money...and smell amazing. So my wife and I ventured into Millwoods and we decided to try the first restaurant that appeared in our way. It was Masalaz. They serve South Indian Food. What does that mean?... It means Great Vegetarian dishes, spicy food, great Chutneys, coconut sauces, and dozens of dishes beyond the over-exploited butter chicken. If you like Indian food, Masalaz is a must to expand your experience. The value is amazing... My wife and I tried the vegetarian buffet, dishes were great and we even got a large and tasty Dhosa ALL FOR $12 CAD each. One of the best worldwide value for money experiences. The place is full with locals and I learned that it has been in business for 10 years or so. Locals might have wanted to keep the secret without posting reviews in Tripadvisor... It is your chance to try it, secret uncovered!
