La Boule Patisserie & Bakery - Edmonton

I visited this restaurant late yesterday to grab some pastries for a friend's graduation, and the lady who helped me was extremely pleasant! The pastries here are amazing, and each one is simply delicious! I highly recommend trying the passion fruit éclair. Trust me, you won't be able to enjoy an éclair from anywhere else after trying theirs.

This is the best bakery my wife and I have ever visited! We will definitely be returning to Edmonton just for this place. We regret only going there once!

We are always searching for croissants that transport us back to Europe. One thing my husband and I miss the most are delicious pastries and baguettes. It's difficult to find the same quality here in Canada due to differences in butter and flour. La Boule makes us feel at home with their beautiful croissants that are flaky, airy, and buttery. We enjoyed their eclairs with tasty choux pastry and delicious creme patissiere flavors like tangy passion fruit and light pistachio. We also tried the chocolate hazelnut torte, lemon tart, and carrot cake, all of which were delicious. The chocolate hazelnut torte was particularly exceptional - lighter and moister than any other I've had, including Duchess's chocolate cake. The carrot cake was skillfully presented with real dried carrot coins and well-spiced flavors, although the cream cheese icing was a bit too thick for the amount of cake, slightly overpowering the balance of flavors. The lemon tart was clean and simple. La Boule undoubtedly offers the city's finest pastries and I would love to apprentice here to learn more about pastry work. Keep up the great work! Even as a dietitian, I can't wait to eventually try everything you create - it's a delightful treat.

Stopped in just to check the place out, ordered a Vanilla bean cherry cheese cake and a hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was, well, hot chocolate. But the cheese cake was absolutely amazing. The place is also very clean and beautiful, and nestled in just off Whyte, feels just a little less hectic than the world around it. Wonderful place, will be coming back with friends.

Wonderful pastries, crafted in a true European fashion small and fancy, made with the best ingredients and elegantly displayed. I hope Jennifer that your business will thrive and grow, and keep making people like me happy. One negative I will have to watch my weight, which is at risk from eating too many of your delights!
