Julio's Barrio Mexican Restaurant

I am firmly convinced that this place is overpriced for Mexican food. but it's good to eat. I recommend the tortilla soup that I believe is a good price for the suppe quality and quantity. the chihuahua bulldogge is very vanilla-ish.

On Monday evening as solo and sitting on the bar, although several tables are open. I was not satisfied at first, but the co-worker present made it better. she really looked good in that the place has a nightclub vibe with the decibal plane, especially of nudels of people who were on and so. eating was nothing of excellent, although the menu of my opinion was somewhat limited. but this is just because I expect to find carne asada in any Mexican restaurant. the people seem to really enjoy here, so it is a great social location. Drinks could use some actual Mexican soft drinks and the coffee I ordered in abnormality of a Mexican cococ, was just lukewarm. the second cup coffee was better and how it should be. ambiente and decor are okay, but top 40 music instead of Latin channels in the background only adds that its tailored hipster and millenials. the works of art on the walls are lacking tribute to día de muertos. but again this is all my opinion. I'm just a customer. I would definitely come back, but I will not expect an authentic Mexican experience. everything in all is the personal friendly and capable, and eating is excellent. the management could add a bit more mexican in this Mexican restaurant.

I was here tonight for dinner and I wasn't happy with the meal, they were not hot and for nachoshun was dry. for chicken quesadilla it was dry and less cheese. not happy with eating. the waiter was nice and friendly. enchiladas was warm not hot. waste money, spend $168. not happy with this place at all.

Such a great experience! A friend and I went out last Saturday for a little pub hopping. After having less than ideal service at the first place we went, it was so nice to get to Julio's and see that good hospitality still exists! The entire staff was amazing, from the hostess, to the bartenders (we sat at the bar), to the person who brought out our food. It seemed like all of the staff were having a great time, while still providing great service. I've worked as a server for 14+ years so it's really nice to see an entire room of both staff and guests equally enjoying themselves especially given the stressful last couple of years the service industry has had to endure!

The atmosphere was lively at this location. Ordered the mucho macho nachos and they are sized for a group of 3-5 is advertised in the menu but the portions are not that large and it was quite easy for a group of just 2 to finish the item. The taste was good but it is pretty hard to fail at nachos. The waitress mentioned the special tonight was Bulldogs so we ordered one to try but when we asked her the price it was the same as regular price so wasn 't clear on what the special was. 14 dollars for a bulldog. Anyways this experience for me would be rated as average only and nothing really to make you drive out of your way for Mexican cuisine.
