Island Cafe Bistro - Edmonton

First time here, tried on recommendation of a friend. Wow, this place is outstanding!! Rodney and Vivian, the owners, are so personable and friendly. Menu has many options at very fair prices. Food was really unique, fresh, and full of wonderful new flavors, different than any other Malaysian places we have ever tried. Highly recommend them if you are looking for a new place that is different from the cookie cutter restaurants out there. Vivian told us she uses all her mothers recipes and the care taken in preparation definitely shows.

The food was amazing! The owners were so friendly! I have to come back again! Everyone should try this place at least once! Regardless of your food preferences!

As a Malaysian -born Canadian, I've been waiting for a place to go in Edmonton for my Nasi Lemak fix and Island Cafe and Bistro did not disappoint! Everything was delicious and tasted just like home. The service was also incredible; friendly and the food was delivered very fast. All in all was an amazing experience, will definitely be back! Terima kasih!! :
