IHOP Restaurant - Edmonton

We were 3 people at 12:00...service was prompt, food was good...waitress was excellent...everything we ordered was tasty! Coffee wasn’t great....but besides that we were pleased with our meal!

Service was great, food left me wondering why I picked what I did. When there with a group of 6, 3 meals were good, 3 were so so. I had Fish Chips, not sure why I went to a pancake place to have Fish and Chips, mistake on my part. Waffle that my friend's son had was raw as were his pancakes so not sure what we should have ordered.

Decided to try Ihop on 127 Street, mistake. Once seated it was like being in the Bermuda triangle, lots of staff buzzing about but once seated totally ignored. The fact that people after us got seated and served before us led us to leave... we were thanked for our patronage on departure! Not even a 'would you like water, coffee or sorry for the delay from staff busy wiping down tables....no eye contact or communication. Very poor and will not bother with this chain in the future. General manager not overly concerned.

Met for a breakfast meeting. My first time here but others had been before and suggested it to meet. Typical basic-modern casual decor. Obviously breakfast is the feature here but they also had lunch and dinner options I noticed on their menu. I went out of my norm and had a poblano omelette. Not my normal choice but figured to try something new. (It also said it was a new item on the menu). I was pleasantly surprised. Decent sized portion, decent amount of fillings, and was hot when it came out. Others has assorted breakfast plates, no complaints from anyone. I saw a lot of pancakes get eaten also haha! Service was very pleasant and attentive. If anything too good as we're having a meeting, some files to review etc, and could've used a bit time and space for a few moments, but as mentioned, they were very good, and I won't complain about good service ever these days! Very easy to recommend for a decent value breakfast for certain.

Restaurant needs better quality of food, freshness and served hot! French toast is not appealing! Senior lunch menu needs burgers on it
