Przekaż informację zwrotnąHudson's has several locations, but we love the South Edmonton Common location: it has become our "local" for watching CFL or NHL games or just a quick drink after enduring the checkout lines at the Superstore across the road. Brady, the friendly manager works hard to make sure everyone is happy: he's very good at his job. My husband often comes here alone to watch the games (sorry, I don't often want to go) and always feels at home, even if he's alone. If I have to meet him here, and am alone, I never feel out of place. The amazingly beautiful female servers are always kind and respectful (even to "older" people like us!). This location always makes a big deal of playoffs and there are usually lots of sports fans here, sitting close together at small tables, making noise and having a great time. Hudson's make a great Ceasar, to boot! An example of good management: when we ordered a beer and then found out the server had forgotten to mention that Ceasars were on special, Brady gave my husband a complimentary Ceasar, to make up for the mistake. Classy.
Stopped for lunch and to rest our feet - We ordered the cobb salad, and breakfast wrap. My gal says this was the best breakfast wrap she has ever eaten. My cobb salad was tasty and plentiful. The coffee was terrific on a cold dayOne negative - we prefer to eat gluten free or gluten reduced, and told this to our waitressThe waitress checked with the kitchen and told us the burrito wrap was corn tortilla - when it came - it was a red tomato/red pepper? flour tortilla. This could turn out dicey if someone has a strong allergy to gluten... Staff (kitchen and server) needs to KNOW the ingredients exactly. That being said our server was very helpful and cheerful.Overall - a good meal.
My husband and I ate an early dinner here. The service was fantastic, drinks were good and the food was awesome! I have the bison pot pie and it was amazing, I could taste all the individual flavours. My husband had the rueban sand which which had tons of meat on it. The prices were also fine.
Met up with some friends after a volleyball game for wings.
I used to visit Hudson's a lot but I haven't been in a while.
