Food was fresh but didn't have a lot of flavor I had the toastados and my hubby has the enchiladas salvatoras; but there were hardly different.
Great small unique restaurantDecor was nice and staff was friendly.
Went to celebrate a family birthday and was entirely happy with the experience. Though it bills itself as a Spanish restaurant it really is Central American--El Salvadoran I think. Excellent food in ample quantities. Fairly prompt and definitely friendly service. Wine and beer available. Will visit again.
Is located on 118 Ave & 87 Street just across from the Handy (Portuguese) Bakery; there is some angle street parking right in front of the restaurant. This is a small (maybe 20 tables) restaurant that serves a variety of Mexican and Salvadorean food. The inside décor is very nice (the washrooms are single stall) and service was good, not fast, but worth the wait for fresh food.We (3) tried the Flautas Mexicanas (3 chicken Flautas for $8) and the Camarones (Shrimp) a la Plancha. The Flautas had a tasty chicken filling and a very (hard) crispy coating, it was served with a fresh salad. I prefer the coating to be less hard on Flautas but they were good (for a light lunch or as an appetizer). The Shrimp was spiced (but not spicy), served with a salad and a tasty mango salsa for $13.25.For the first visit we rated this restaurant as Average but we will give it another try, as the entrees on the menu looked good. It was nice to find another place in Edmonton serving Spanish food.
