Dixie Lee - Whyte Ave - Edmonton

I like going to Dixie Lee, especially to pick on the owner! He's got a great sense of humour. Him and his staff go above and beyond to make sure you get the best food and service there is to offer in the restaurant/take out industry. I like there food and they keep the place very clean too! I would recommend Dixie Lee Whyte Ave to anyone out there suffering from hunger right now! Keep up with the great work!!! A+

The staff at this restaurant is incredibly kind and welcoming. They always have a smile on their faces and seem to really enjoy their work. They take great pride in the dishes they serve. The fish is expertly battered and the shrimp is some of the best I've ever tasted.

I have finally found a third place in Alberta that serves proper poutine! One in Calgary where I live, one in Canmore, and now Dixie Lee in Edmonton. They offer Italian poutine and galvaude, so they really know their stuff. I have never come across these two classic variations anywhere in Alberta before, even after 20 years. And everyone speaks French, both the staff and the customers! I will definitely have to come back to try the other types of poutine, the pizza, and of course the Italian poutine. Also, the service tonight was excellent, especially from the lovely Quebecois woman at the counter. She was friendly and very accommodating. Thank you!
