Dairy Queen (treat) - Edmonton

We purchased an ice cream cake for a birthday party but didn't realize until the day of the party that it had frozen excessively. We had to buy another ice cream cake from a different Dairy Queen because the party was not near the original location. When we tried to return the cake the next day, they initially tried to pass it off as just frost. This was unacceptable, so we contacted the manager to discuss. The manager was helpful and refunded our money, but it was frustrating to have to visit two different Dairy Queens and speak to two different employees about a cake that was likely left in the freezer too long.

Is it normal to pay extra for relish on a hot dog? I inquired with the cashier about adding some relish, and she informed me that there was an additional charge. I considered paying the fee, but questioned why they were charging an extra $0.50 for relish. I'm not trying to be stingy, but it doesn't seem right to have to pay for relish on a hot dog.

The service at this restaurant is subpar and the staff is unprofessional. I ordered a latte which was not made correctly and can be found at other establishments.

I am extremely disappointed with the service at this restaurant!!! It was absolutely terrible!! My daughter, who is disabled and uses a wheelchair, accidentally dropped her spoon. My wife and I each went up separately to request a replacement spoon, but we were told that they are only for customers. We explained that it was for our daughter, but the server made a derogatory comment about a certain cultural group always asking for extra spoons. While I understand the policy, there should be exceptions made out of basic human decency.

When I ordered a drink, the woman working at the restaurant first checked the peel-off promotion to ensure that I didn't win anything. After noticing something, they gave me a new cup that did not contain a prize.
