Przekaż informację zwrotnąWent for the Bruno Mars concert on July 30,2017, I had a reservation for 6:30pm but when we got there I was then told that the restaurant does not open until 7:00pm....my fiance and I stood there for almost 15 minutes before anyone clarified if the restaurant opened at 6:30 or 7. Opening at 7 when the concert began at 8pm was pushing it by the time we finished dinner and found our seats we barely made it to the opening act. It would have been fine to enjoy dinner if you were skip the opening act. When I said a reservation for 6, the staff seemed very confused and didn't know where to put us....that was unacceptable...especially when I mad a reservation. Food was very good though.
Made reservations here for some guests and I before a game. The restaurant is nice and open. Our drink orders were taken quickly after sitting down and we ordered soon after. My dish (maple salmon) was good (though light on the portion size for the price), served with scalloped potatoes and a zucchini ragu. I felt the dish as a whole could use a touch of salt (none at the tables) but otherwise decent taste and cooked well. The mango sauce my salmon came with complimented it well and the potatoes were soft and buttery. My guests enjoyed their meals. All in all, the food was enjoyable and ambience was great for a bite before the game and so close to where we'll end up (vs going somewhere across the road). With that said, the prices are definitely on the high side, especially for the portion size.
This review is for the Curve Restaurant on the PCL Loge Level for the buffet during the Garth Brooks concert. I had no idea there was a restaurant inside Rogers Place until the Garth Guide came out. You do need to book a reservation which can be done online, if nothing is available, try contacting the restaurant. I accidentally cancelled my reservation instead of editing my reservation and had to email the restaurant to resolve my issue as there were no more available bookings. Jim Brown, the manager emailed me back right away as was very helpful. The buffet for the Garth Brooks concert is $25.00 per person which is super reasonable and was indescribably delicious. My favorites were the brisket which was so tender you could cut it with your fork, the jicama carrot slaw had crunchy tortilla chips on top making it a unique texture, the caesar salad had tonnes of cheese and you definitely have to try the root beer beans. Don't let me forget about the fried chicken, you have to try it! (there was way more food, but my stomach can only hold so much).....and than last but not least the amazing desserts. The red velvet cake with cream cheese is unbelievably moist and decadent, the apple pie has some kind of caramel on the bottom, and the pecan pie was very rich. The drinks are pretty pricey, but it's not like you have a treat every day. Treat yourself. The service was speedy, and I was greeted by every staff member when I passed them. I could not ask for anything more. The Garth Brooks concert was AMAZING, but at the end of the night I was talking about the delicious meal I had. My boyfriend said, "we just saw a 3 and a half hour concert and you are talking about the meal?" What can I say, I am a foodie. This is definitely my favorite memory so far of Rogers Place. I hope that Curve Restaurant has more buffets for concerts and shows. It would have been awesome to have something special for Toruk at Christmas time (maybe there was, but I didn't know about it!) The Garth Guide was a great way to get to know about Curves Restaurant. Thank you Jim Brown for helping me out with my reservation. You made the Garth Brooks concert even better.
We went before the evening Garth Brooks show to indulge in the "Country style" buffet inspired by the man himself playing in town. The food was great, plenty to choose from to satisfy all tastes. Garth inspired drinks were good...pricey! The ribs and fried chicken were tasty, Gouda mac n cheese was out of this world and the deserts were plentiful. The red velvet cake looked delicious and the Oilers white chili ate coins were good. Service was alright, all the waitresses had to do was take our drink order and stand pretty. Meal was worth every penny! Separate line in Ford Hall to get escorted upstairs.
We went there before the Oiler game. The food, service and speed of getting our meal was excellent. My partner had a little problem with his steak being too cool, and he asked if they could warm it up but instead they gave him a new steak. We had a great experience and will go again.
