This bakery tucked in a small strip mall in the north side of Edmonton is a treasure chest of incredible Middle Eastern Baklawa and sweet treats. The owner and staff are super friendly and ensure you are made to feel welcome and appreciated. Try the many types of baklawa layered with different kinds of nuts ....walnuts, pistachios, cashews and other delights. Take home a tray of these goodies for your next party!

I have visited Cedar Sweets many times since my initial review, and I can confidently say that I have not found better baklava in the city.

Cedar Sweets is another hidden find situated in the small strip mall alongside Sunbake Pita Bakery.

This restaurant is located right next to Sunbake Pita and is an excellent spot. The baklava they serve is top-notch, just as good or better than anything I've had in Toronto.
