Carl’s Jr - Edmonton

I don't understand why this restaurant has a low rating. My husband and I have been here about 9 times since it opened, and it's always been good.

Bright, modern, and extremely crowded. We visited on a Friday afternoon and were impressed by the stylish decor.

I paid 17.84 for a burger that was NOT made to my preferences, a poutine that had very little fries nor cheese curds but tonnes of gravy, and a milkshake that was smaller than a kids apple juice!I specifically said NO onions on the burger. If I was allergic I would be dead! Instead I had to pick them out of the burger. I asked to substitute the fries for a poutine. Had very little fries, practically no cheese, but tonnes of gravy. The milkshake instead of a regular soft drink was small, too much whipped cream, and barely any flavor if any at all.I did not complain. I did not ask for a manager. Yes the reason I chose not to tell anyone is because the cashier who took my order did NOT KNOW english. When I made my order another person had to come over and help the cashier to get my order. Perhaps that is why there was onions on a burger that I said NO to!DO NOT go to Carl's Jr! They are rip offs! They give you less than McDonalds for a greasier experience, and a costly experience!UGH!

I needed to grab a quick dinner when I was in the west end of Edmonton. I had never been to Carl's Jr before so I thought I'd give it a try. It was more expensive than I was expecting so I decided to just order a Famous Star with Cheese. The burger was very good and not nearly as messy as I was expecting. Maybe next time I'll splurge and try a few more menu items like the crisscut fries or a milkshake

Had a burger and fries. Was a'right. Better than your basic mickey d's or BK but doesn't hold a candle to in n out
