Food is pretty good at Brown's. Always consistent. Service and staff were fast and friendly.Food: 4/5

The waitress was feeling exhausted and overwhelmed, which she explained was the reason for forgetting our drink and food order. However, once the food and drinks arrived, they were quite enjoyable. I ordered the 2-piece fish and chips, which came with coleslaw and a sauce. Overall, it was a good meal and I would definitely return. Rating: 5/5 for the food.

The French dip sandwich was delicious! The fries were freshly cut and the outdoor seating area was very cozy. I would give it a perfect 10 out of 10. My son also loved the chicken fingers. Overall, I would rate the food 5 out of 5 stars.

The restaurant provides consistently good and friendly service. I visited around 6:30pm on a Friday and was promptly seated. The food was enjoyable, with the oreo jar being a popular choice. I highly recommend trying the desserts, as they are good for sharing. While the prices have increased, I believe the portion sizes could be better for the cost. Overall, it was a decent dining experience.

I would strongly advise against visiting this restaurant. Our visit here for lunch about two weeks ago turned out to be a complete nightmare. To begin with, we clearly informed our waiter that we do not consume pork. Shockingly, she neglected to inform us that the dry ribs on the menu contained pork. It wasn 't until I had taken a bite that I realized the mistake. This level of negligence is unethical, considering our strong beliefs against consuming pork.While an apology was offered, it fell short of rectifying the situation. Unfortunately, our ordeal didn 't end there. Upon receiving our sushi, we discovered a hair in it shortly after. Not only was the sushi clearly lacking in freshness, but the rice was dry and unappetizing. As if that wasn 't disappointing enough, the fish tacos were an overwhelming letdown, with an abundance of lettuce and tomatoes overshadowing the meager amount of fish.I understand that mistakes can happen in restaurants, even during quieter times (which was the case during our visit). However, the accumulation of multiple issues during a single visit is quite concerning. Out of curiosity, we decided to check the Alberta Health Services inspection reports, and it appears that this establishment has not undergone an inspection in quite some time. Previous inspections have also flagged two critical violations. These findings further contribute to our decision to never return to this place.Considering the overall experience, I am left with no choice but to give this establishment a low rating of two stars. The only redeeming factor was the decent ambiance on the patio. I feel compelled to share this experience as a cautionary tale to others. It is my hope that the management takes the necessary steps to prioritize quality, hygiene, and customer satisfaction in the future
